Michigan's late goose season is on, due to the fairly warm weather, there are still some around. I will be going out this weekend in hopes of getting a few. Good luck to all, and let us know how you did.

Well my brother Curt and I went after some geese this morning,we seen hundreds but nothing came close enough for a shot. We were just hunting the edge of a dike adjacent to a field where they have been going, but as luck would have it they didn't want to go in the field this morning. It started to rain on us and after the geese got up and flew the other direction, we left. Still fun to be out though.

Yesterday I went out again for some geese, but with the temperatures dropping the marsh is icing up . The big river still has some open water areas but they are slowly freezing over as well. This causes our geese and ducks to head south for basking in the sun and pina colotas on the sea shores of old Mexico. There was a flock of about 15 geese that I seen but were to far off. Today I'll try to get some pics of the area were hunting....and just maybe some geese too. Attachments:
